JAK's journey began in Marylebone, London, where he was born in 1927. His early experiences during the Blitz and subsequent education at Willesden School of Art shaped his distinct artistic style. His career took off at the Evening Standard, where he created around 10,000 cartoons, each marked by wit & a keen observation of political & social landscapes. His legacy is a testament to his skill & dedication to the craft.
